Opleiding: Business Process Management Workshop
Learning purpose
During this workshop, participants develop a complete case in small groups and with professional guidance, starting with creating a strategic vision for process management, and then analysing the current situation, modelling the to-be process, drawing up the action points of an implementation plan, and measuring the performance of the processes.
Ideas and techniques to increase the performance of your organisation through a process-based approach.
The BPM Workshop is an interactive, 3-day how-to workshop, where participants learn how to apply process-management techniques effectively in a real business environment. The number of participants is limited to 24.
Why this programme
Business Process Management (BPM) delivers the crucial business glue that synchronises planning, designing, building, operating, maintaining, monitoring and improving the capabilities of the enterprise. BPM is unique in its ability to tame the relentless competitive, service and cost pressures in all organisations, enabling enterprises to continue to adapt (faster and faster) while enhancing quality and reducing costs.
The objectives of this workshop are to introduce BPM and to go through the 4 phases of process management: analysis and modeling, evaluation, re-design and implementation. Working out a case exercise enables participants to apply understanding of the BPM fundamentals. In addition, best practice testimonials build the bridge from the exercise towards the real world.
After this programme
As a result of this programme, you will be able to:
- analyse the core business of your organisation, identify the core processes and clarify their true objectives;
- spot opportunities for cost reductions, performance improvements and innovation, directly impacting the quality, customer service, productivity and financial performance of your organisation;
- make concrete recommendations for improving processes and avoiding common causes of failure;
- conceptualise the fundamentals of process management in a holistic view.
The Vlerick approach
A hands-on approach enables you to understand the full business process management cycle. A case situation allows you to put theory into practice, as you will be asked to team up and improve the processes of an invented, but very realistic, organisation.
Each session goes beyond the key principles to address specific business practices and reusable methods and techniques that are needed to optimise results throughout the definition, analysis, design and implementation phases of process management.
This session is offered in residential mode. A hotel (bed and breakfast) has been reserved for you. The residential seminar environment creates a more intense learning setting, in which participants get to know each other, facilitating rapport and group interaction.
