Master Program: Full-time Master in Entrepeneurship and Innovation (M.Sc.)
Learning purpose
The University and the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg have initiated a partnership whose first outcome is this new programme on Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
The programme is a one-year Master’s degree offered to students with backgrounds in the traditional business disciplines, in other social sciences and in scientific disciplines (biology, physics, engineering for instance). This diversity, rather than a shortcoming, is a strength for a programme aimed at encouraging curiosity and developing an entrepreneurial spirit. The course concept interweaves theory and practice. Experienced professors from different countries will present and discuss the managerial implications of the latest evidence from academic research and case studies. Experienced practitioners from entrepreneurial businesses will bring their know-how and practical views, and discuss their problem-solving heuristics. Each approach will have its assumptions and contentions challenged and enriched by those of the other one, a dialogue which we believe to be essential for understanding entrepreneurship.
