Education
Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) offers many opportunities to study economics and social studies. As a part of our mission we teach responsibility for proffesional decisions and pro-social approach. We promote ethical behaviour in business as well as politics. Besides our Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes we also offer post-graduate studies and voacational trainings for people interested in life-long learning.
Our educational system encompasses the European dimension of higher education to comply with the Bologna Declaration.

Research
Traditionally, the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) has been a centre for scientific research in economics and management science. We believe that interactions between research and economic life not only stimulate the development of our university, but also contribute to the fulfilment of our mission. They also help to develop links between the science and diferrent business sectors as well as government agencies and NGO’s. For years Warsaw School of Economics has been engaged in independent analysis of Polish economy.

Master in International Business
Learning purpose
This full time programme in English lasts 2 years (4 semesters) and consists of 870 teaching hours and 120 ECTS points. Students of the Master's Programme in International Business gain profound knowledge of international business environment with a special focus on the Central & Eastern European markets. They will be capable of understanding the rules of running business on international markets and creating sustainable competitive advantages.
Targetgroup
To apply for the Master’s Programme in International Business you should be at least a bachelor degree holder. As the master's level of studies is separate from your preceding education, the field of your previous studies does not influence the admission process. This means, you can be a graduate of philology or chemistry and still apply for the programme. What really matters is your willingness to broaden your horizons and to develop constantly. Sound English knowledge is also a must for International Business candidates.

The programme was carefully designed to provide students with an opportunity to benefit from direct experiences of renowned scholars from the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland's oldest university of economics, and from our partner institutions.
