
Opleiding: Executive Master in Strategic Human Resource Management
Learning purpose
The Executive Master in Strategic Human Resource Management at SDA Bocconi aims to support high-potential HR managers and professionals to develop in 10 months the necessary competences to enhance the value of a company's most important asset: its people.
The Master emphasizes the close relationship between HR management and strategy, within an international setting which draws upon cutting-edge research and practice to develop methodologies and tools.
Taught in collaboration with Cornell University Faculty(CAHRS- Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies), EMSHRM strengthens the strategic and leadership role of HR. The Program is recommended by SHRM - Society for Human Resource Management.
Programme
The Program begins on 15th February 2012 and ends on November 2012 with the graduation ceremony.
The Master includes a total of 36 days of face-to-face teaching, including 6 Saturdays , designed around 8 modules of 3-6 days. In order to measure their knowledge and learning outcomes against companies’ everyday practice and issues, participants are also called to engage in 4 individual project assignments, for approximately 40 days of work in distance learning.
The modular approach, coupled with in-depth individual and team-based work, will allow individuals for a full immersion in class discussion while maintaining continuous contact with their organizations.
