As one of the leading teaching institutions in Strategy in Europe, we are pleased to present this cutting edge executive programme in strategic management that will provide answers to key questions such as:

  • How do managers develop dynamic capabilities for strategic renewal using unique resources, routines and core competencies?
  • How can firms and business units redraw boundaries and manage effective inter natio - nalisation including alliances, networking and physical vs virtual value chain?
  • How do managers develop and implement viable strategy configurations for sustainable competitive advantage in terms of aligning strategy, structure, systems and culture?

Why choose the Erasmus Executive Programme in Strategic Management?

  • Rotterdam School of Management is a European leader in teaching strategy and the only European university to offer executive certification in Strategic Management.
  • The study of strategic management gives critical insight into why some companies succeed where others fail.
  • Strategic Management equips practitioners and managers with skills in strategic analysis (the position of the organisation and its business units in terms of its internal resources and competences as well as external environment and stake holders), strategic choice (the options open to the organisation and its business units) and strategy implementation (the adaptation of organisational and managerial processes).
  • Strategic Management is more a general management discipline than a functional specialisation. The Erasmus Executive Programme in Strategic Management deals with all three areas extensively. A focus on the process of strategy development is central to this programme.
