Are you ready to take the next step in your career? The Executive MBA program at Nyenrode is a 21 month program to is designed to allow you to study while you work.
The only one of its kind in the Netherlands, Nyenrode's Executive MBA program combines 2-week on-campus modules every 3 months with practical international experience. There are 6 modules in total, with 4 of these taking place on-campus at Nyenrode Business Universiteit and 2 taking place abroad in Africa and in the Americas.
Not only do you perfect your global business skill, the on-campus modules allow you to immerse yourself in the Executive MBA experience: staying and studying on-campus with your fellow students.

The Campus Experience
Nyenrode has a unique atmosphere to study. Nyenrode is located on a 13th century estate, complete with a castle, rose garden and a deer park.
All Executive MBA students are eligible for overnight accommodation while attending the 2 week modules at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Nyenrode has a total of 98 hotel rooms, spread out over 2 locations: the Campus Hotel and the Plesman building. The rooms are simple yet fully equipped hotel rooms with private bathrooms. There is also a restaurant, cafeteria, small store, sports facilities and several bars on campus that you can make use.
On campus, you study with your fellow Executive MBA classmates and interact with students from our other programs, including the Master of Science students and the International MBA students who live and study on-campus throughout the duration of their programs. Staying on campus is not required, but recommended: many Executive MBA students cite their stay on campus as a very enjoyable part of their program.

International Approach
Two international modules
Business is increasingly global, and we prepare our MBA graduates for the demands and opportunities for our interconnected world. We believe that an international experience is critical when studying international business; starting with international classmates and including 2 international modules of 2 weeks each in Africa and America.
As a part of the program, two very different types of study modules will take place abroad. You will have the opportunity to experience for yourself how different business can be between two equally important but very different economic markets:
Africa
This module is about learning how business is done in an emerging market on a very diverse and interesting continent. Over the past years, students have completed this module at Stellenbosch University in South Africa on their picturesque campus located near Cape Town.
Americas
This module is about growing your practical skills while enriching your understanding of doing business in a unique region in the world: the Americas. This year students will complete this module at one of the world's leading business schools: University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business in the United States of America.
Studying and staying in these countries during your Executive MBA is a truly unique experience!
Technolgy and Innovation
Excelling in business requires you to stay ahead of the trends while having a firm understanding of the basics of business. For all businesses, technology is a key driver of change and one that shows no signs of slowing yet.
Nyenrode has brought technology into the Executive MBA. As part of the program, you will conduct research focusing on the implementation of new technologies, such as social media and cloud computing, and the stimulation of business innovations. You develop business cases comparing new technologies against existing strategies with the ultimate goal to make companies aware of the different ways in which technology can be used.
Cooperation with Capgemini & alumni
The program is developed in conjunction with Capgemini, which leads the Executive MBA teams throughout the project. During the research phase, events and round table conferences will be organized. For these occasions, the EMBA students, alumni and other interested people will be invited. A selection of EMBA alumni will be asked to act as ‘soundboard' for the EMBA group by exchanging ideas, questions and comments about your project: this allows you to increase your network with past graduates and fine-tune your project.
In the words of current Executive MBA student, Erwin Bresser:
"The information and innovation course in the Executive MBA program is taking us on a journey into the future, where (information) technology will be a key factor in business decisions. How can we leverage these new technologies? Topics like "Social Media", "The new way of working" and "Cloud Computing" will be discussed and put in to practice. As EMBA9 we will walk these new roads ('Nyenrode') and we will present our vision on this future."

Candidate Profile
The Executive MBA is designed for participants with the following qualifications:
- A bachelor degree or higher
- An average of 8 years work experience (requirement of at least 3 years)
- An international and ambitious outlook
- Willingness to embrace the rigors of combining work and study
- A thorough command of written and spoken English
(TOEFL test) - The Graduate Management Admission Test
(GMAT, ) or the Nyenrode Admission test
