Opleiding: International Executive Master of Finance and Control
Learning purpose
The international Executive Master of Finance and Control Programme is a joint venture of Universiteit Maastricht and the Universiteit van Amsterdam. It prepares for two degrees: the Dutch oriented Chartered Controller degree (RC – Registered Controller - as well as CC) and the Internationally oriented Executive Master of Finance and Control degree (EMFC). Graduates of the programme are entitled to be listed in the register of the VRC (Vereniging van Registercontrollers: Association of Chartered Controllers) and hence bear the RC (Register Controller) title within the Netherlands as well as the CC (Chartered Controller) title within the international arena. Independent of whether or not listed in the VRC-register, graduates are allowed to bear the title Executive Master of Finance and Control (EMFC).
Target audience
A typical participant will have more than 2 years of experience in a financial function within a medium or large-sized business unit of an international corporation. In view of the international focus of the programme, especially expats and pats of these corporations are targeted. Typically, supporting employers will value the candidate as a ‘high potential’.

Entry Requirements
The programme is particularly relevant for young professionals with a master level background in finance, accounting, or information management. The benchmark is a Masters degree in business administration. Candidates will be selected on the basis of this minimal requirement. This implies that additional individual instruction and training may be required before enrolment. Candidates are invited to contact the programme management for a customized advice. In addition to these formal academic requirements, corporations employing candidates have to state their official support.
