The program is designed for young adults seeking careers in international business and who wish to be trained as successful managers in the global marketplace. Mastering the challenges of emerging markets in a globalized economy requires creative management thinking and the skills to operate in culturally diverse organizations. This is what MSM's Master of Management is preparing the candidates for.
The Master of Management in International Business includes a broad preparation in the international aspects of business and economics from the beginning and it specifically allows for a concentration in a specific functional area. The pedagogical approach emphasizes teamwork and case study analysis combined with a theoretical underpinning and training required to apply management knowledge into practice.
Home base of this program is Maastricht, with a six weeks attachment in Shanghai, China.
The uniqueness of the program consists in its flexible curriculum design and global delivery. Our aim is to stimulate critical thinking and problem solving from a multidisciplinary perspective embedded in truly global practice. The program modules are offered consecutively in two of our locations worldwide, drawing on faculty that has built years of expertise in applying management theory to local organizations in countries on every continent. This, together with a student body that is truly multinational and culturally diverse makes the program tailored to the international manager of the future.
