Opleiding: Effective Partnership Management
Learning purpose
Recently, partnerships between the public sector, private sector and civil society aimed at creating 'collaborative advantage' by achieving results not achievable on an individual basis have become increasingly common. However, challenges in communication, interests, perspectives and operating cultures must be overcome by the partnership managers.
Our EPM program focuses on how to select partners; effective stakeholder management; the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the partnering process; and how to take the broader partnership environment into consideration. We provide you with awareness of the challenges which can hamper the partnership process and enable you to overcome these by helping you develop the skills required to govern, manage and facilitate complex partnerships through effective leadership, communication and negotiation. Our training follows an interactive approach where participants, experts and partnership managers exchange experiences. Assignments such as developing a partnership business plan help you turn theory into practice.
Target audience
The program is designed for:
Project managers and consultants from the public sector, academic institutions, businesses and non- governmental organizations who are involved in managing or facilitating collaborative activities between organizations from different spheres of society.
