Mälardalen University has many international contacts and co-operation programs with institutes of higher education in some 50 countries around the world. The University endeavors to provide more opportunities for exchanges with different countries around the world for our students and one of the University’s overarching objectives is for all students to be given the opportunity for some form of intercultural contact or activity. Mälardalen University has more than 250 agreements with other institutes of higher education around the world for student exchanges. These agreements are in a variety of subject areas. The University also participates in various European projects, for example the EU-Canada and EU-USA higher education co-operation programs and the Socrates program.
