Master Program: Master in Finance
Learning purpose
The Master in Finance is a 10-month program designed for students with an outstanding academic record. It is geared to those who have either just finished their undergraduate studies and/or have limited professional experience that they wish to expand on.

The Master in Finance is intended for the recent graduate with limited professional experience.
Programme
IE Business School´s Master in Finance will equip students with the latest knowledge in key areas of finance such as leveraged buy-outs, credit derivatives, mergers, and acquisitions. The program will play a pivotal role in increasing candidate appeal in the recruitment processes for leading financial institutions, such as investment banks, private equity, or asset management. Further areas covered include macroeconomics, financial accounting, financial entrepreneurship, presentation skills and negotiation. The Master in Finance course will focus on the specialist skills needed in financial markets and will help prepare you for all the challenges that lie ahead in your career.
CFA® Exam
A minimum level of CFA®I will be mandatory for all graduates on the Master in Finance. CFA® certificate has become a basic requirement for individuals who work as investment analysts, portfolio managers, and other investment decision-makers employed by investment firms, banks, broker/dealers, investment companies, insurance companies, and other agencies. Entry Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent - Application form + 2 letters of recommendation + 3 essays - GMAT (average: 680), GRE, or IE Admissions Test - Personal interview - Certificate of proficiency in the English language (where applicable), e.g.: TOEFL (minimum: 250)
