Master Program: Master of International Business (M.A.)
Learning purpose
The „Master of International Business“ (Master of Arts) prepares you for a high responsible management position in leading international orientated companies. With the special focus on business relations between Asia and Europe you get a deep impression of the structure and the challenges in these important and dynamic business regions.
The professors and instructors of the study programme are highly regarded for their expertise in management-topics as well as in Asian – especially Chinese – business relations. They are well connected to local and global business networks.
The Master of International Business is strongly supported by the Sino-German School of Governance, an organizational unit of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Through innovative didactical methods specialised knowledge is delivered for example in the fields of International Economics, Business Strategies & Change Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, Corporate Responsibility or Cross Cultural Management. The teaching language is English.
Target audience
The Master Programme aims to attract bachelor graduates from all over the world with basic knowledge in business topics who are pursuing a management career with an Asian / European focus as well as German non-business bachelor graduates, such as graduates from sinology, engineering or social science. These two major target groups will lead to an internationally compounded exclusive study group.
Graduation variants
The study programme lasts four semesters. It is a non-consecutive, full-time programme and consists of twelve modules carefully tailored to one another and related to general and international business. The modules contain innovative elements, such as business simulation, practical training with E-Seminar, excursions or electives. At the end, you will write your Master's thesis for which you should allow approximately 300 hours. The programme has a total of 120 ECTS credits.

Entry Requirements
The study programme places high demands upon the students, both technically and personally. If you would like to apply, you should have
- an university degree or equivalent bachelor qualification,
- excellent written and spoken English skills (TOEFL IBT, 80 or equivalent),
- strong motivation to pass through a challenging course of study.

The “Master of International Business” study programme starts in October 2008. If you are interested in the study programme, please apply by 31rd of July 2008.
Your application may also be considered after this deadline if there are places still available. However, based upon our experience, the demand for places is very high. Thus, we recommend that you meet the application deadline as it is in your best interest to do so. The acceptances are made based upon the date the applications were received. For this reason, we recommend that you apply as early as possible.
Upon receipt of your application, we will conduct an interview (to find out about your motivation and personality) with you.
