Then the Master of Accounting & Taxation (M.Sc.) at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a further milestone in your career. This programme is accredited by FIBAA. In three semesters of full- or part-time study you will acquire all relevant knowledge in the field of accounting & taxation. You can study this programme in a bi-lingual (German-English) track.
Programme
The study programme lasts three semesters. In the first two semesters, you take a total of 10 obligatory courses and 6 specialised courses. In the third semester, you write your Masters thesis and may opt for some shorter elective courses.
Through the innovative three-day model of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, you may study while keeping your current job: Monday to Wednesday, you work quite normally; Thursday to Saturday, you go to the Frankfurt School. In addition to a purely English-language study programme, you may choose a bilingual variant (80 % German, 20 % English).
The study programme is divided into mandatory, specialised and elective courses. In this manner, you can include your desired specialisation and career goals in your quite personal study plan.

Entry Requirements
The “Accounting & Taxation” Master's study programme places great demands upon its students, both technically and personally. If you would like to apply for a place, you should
- Have a first university degree (Economics, Finance, Banking)
- Have passed the TOEFL with at least a score of 70 iBT points
- And be prepared to go through a very challenging study programme.

The “Master of Accounting & Taxation” study programme starts in March. If you are interested in the study programme, please apply by 31 January (Bachelor graduates from Frankfurt School) or 30 November (all external applicants). Your application may be considered after this deadline if there are still places available. However, based upon our experience, the demand for places is very high. Thus, we recommend that you meet the application deadline as it is in your own best interest to do so. The study programme acceptances will be made based upon the date the applications were received. For this reason, we recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
For your application, please use our application form which you can download. Furthermore, we need the following from you:
- Your application documents (incl. university transcript and CV),
- Your TOEFL scores and
- A recent colour photo.
Upon receipt of your application, we will invite you to our assessment centre. It includes an interview (motivation, personality) and a content-based text or interview. The assessment centre will be held in Frankfurt and may be held in other locations only by exception.
