What’s more, we actively invite faculty from other business schools to teach topics from their areas of research.
Topics for electives in the past ranged from “Six Sigma” to “Private Equity” and “Exotic Options”. We will give out a detailed list of topics during your second semester. You will be able to choose three electives out of our list which usually covers 12-15 topics.
Master Thesis
You will spend most of your third semester at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management on your Master Thesis. The Master Thesis takes 4 months to complete and is aimed at deepening your understanding in
one key area by focusing on a scientific or practical problem. Topics for your Master Thesis usually emerge from various sources. Either you have a problem you have been thinking about for a longer period of time and now want to focus on it. Or the company you work for has a problem to be worked on. Or you can ask our faculty for the guidance you may need. In any case, by choosing the right topic you lay the foundation for your future career. This applies especially to those students who decided not to work during their Master studies through the Master Thesis, you may gain access to companies and
fields of work you consider as potential places to work after graduation.
