Frankfurt School of Finance & Management offers a wide range of degree courses and continuing education programmes with the focus on finance. When you have laid the foundations for a successful career with a Bachelor’s degree, the next step is to grow your knowledge and build your skills. At Frankfurt School of Finance & Management you can join a Master’s programme in any of seven specialist divisions – each offering you thorough preparation for a future leadership role; each enabling you to systematically gain that vital edge over your competitors. Most of our Master's programmes are taught in English, helping to open the door to an international career.

 

Master of Finance (M. Sc.)

The Master of Finance is a full-time programme that is offered in a carefully scheduled format that allows all our students to maintain part-time employment for three working days each week, in parallel to their studies at Frankfurt School.

 

The compulsory courses lay the foundations of business and economics and provide deep insight into theories relevant in finance and management. The students build upon this knowledge later in the course. Students must choose among five concentrations: Capital Markets, Bank Management, Accounting and Taxation, Corporate Finance and Development Finance. Elective courses allow students to specialise even further in their chosen concentration or to gain new knowledge in another area of finance, economics, or management.

 

The Master of Finance enables you to pursue in-depth studies in one of four "concentrations", based on a common foundation of shared core modules. You choose one of the following four concentrations:
- Capital Markets

- Corporate Finance

- Accounting & Taxation

- Development Finance

Master of International Business (M.A.)

The Master of International Business is based on the idea of applying knowledge in the various fields of general management, strongly related to international issues and viewpoints. The first semester focuses on providing students with the foundations of management, economics and finance followed by additional modules in international strategy and operations management, leadership, marketing and corporate responsibility in the second semester. Students choose their specialisation, a regional focus, which takes place in the third semester. Electives are offered in the third and fourth semester and the Master's thesis completes the programme. The required internship gives students the opportunity to put theory into practice during the semester breaks.

 

The graduates of the Master of International Business are qualified to fill managerial positions in international companies. They will manage the growing complexity of doing business globally while understanding and creatively activating cultural diversity in global business. They will exercise strong leadership abilities and be successful working individually and in teams.

Master in Quantitative Finance (M.Sc.)

This part-time programme extends over two years with one monthly three-day class session in Frankfurt. This it enables you to stay in your current job while you pursue your studies. If you have a first degree in a quantitive subject and at least one year of work experience, you are eligible to apply.The Master in Quantitative Finance at Frankfurt School is a demanding maths-oriented academic programme that is dedicated to advancing the financial and analytical competences of young professionals who are working in quantitative finance roles.

Master in Risk Management & Regulation (M.Sc.)

The executive Master in Risk Management & Regulation study programme lasts three semesters and takes place predominantly on the campus of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. During your study programme, you will take a total of eleven courses. All courses are conducted in English. All instructional offerings are bundled into blocks of classes so that you can complete your study programme while working at the same time.

 

Students are qualified to responsibly fill a challenging position in all areas of risk management, risk controlling, product development and supervision as well as other roles where a solid understanding of risk management is required. They have a clear conception of highly complex and integrated risk situations and are able to detect potential problems and to develop adequate solutions. For managing the implementation process they are able to communicate well-informed with external and internal partners throughout the bank and on all hierarchical levels.

MBA International Healthcare Management

The study programme lasts 20 months and may be completed while concurrently holding a full time job. It consists of nine residential modules and two e-based modules. At the end, you will write your Master's thesis.

Two modules (modules 5 and 8) are concentration modules, where industry-specific topics are discussed practically and with live case studies in collaboration with important industry players in different countries of the world.
