Learning purpose
The Georgetown-ESADE Global Executive MBA program presents a unique opportunity for executives to enhance their management and leadership skills while strengthening their ability to solve the complex problems of a highly globalized business world.
Target audience
We are looking for a diverse group of men and women from a variety of nationalities and backgrounds, including the humanities and natural sciences. A business background is not required; however, all applicants should have a current international job profile and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a capacity for leadership. Those holding a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university are eligible for consideration for admission. In addition, applicants should have eight years postgraduate professional experience and have the quantitative aptitude needed to succeed in a rigorous MBA program.
Programme
The Global Executive MBA boasts the alliance between three world-class graduate schools: ESADE Business School, Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service and Georgetown's McDonough School of Business. The combination of business fundamentals and global policy-making will prepare participants for global leadership roles. During the 16 month program, participants will be immersed in the complexities of international and local markets in each of the six, 11-day modules taking place in seven global cities. Upon program completion, participants will receive MBA degrees from Georgetown University and ESADE Business School, and will gain access to their combined alumni networks of over 170,000 executives around the world.

Participants engage in a global strategy exercise to experience the dynamics of globalizing industries. In teams they lead the process of growth and expansion in the global arena. They face the complexities of doing business in multiple markets including large developed markets such as the US or Europe and new emerging markets such as India, Brazil and Russia. Diverse businesses and varied products add complexity and realism to the corporate strategy exercise.
