Master Program: Full-Time MBA in global business management
Learning purpose
BSL students possess specific identifiable personality characteristics including:
A creative imagination - Individuality - A determination to succeed - High motivation
They have the capacity for hard work and appreciate that making calculated mistakes is part of the learning process. We recommend an interview. This allows the school and the student to get to know each other before making a commitment.
The graduate degree in business at BSL is equivalent to a one-year European bachelor degree. BSL has developed a highly intense one-year master’s program which includes a practical work project where students must apply all that they have learned to a concrete business situation. The academic year consists of four separate 10-week terms, adding up to 40 weeks of in-class presence. The program has two start dates: in February and in September.
Target audience
The BSL MBA is designed for professionals looking to make a real impact on business and who seek a global entrepreneurial focus. BSL's MBA graduates often act on a vision to develop their own company or take on a demanding managerial role within an organization of their choice.

Do we offer on-campus career services?
Given the size of BSL, we are able to provide personalized career advice rather than inviting companies on-campus. Our MBA program includes a 6-month career coaching module focused on helping students to define their strengths, professional vision, short-term and long-term career goals, what function they see themselves in and what companies would best meet their expectations. Assistance is provided in creating compelling CVs, interview coaching and preparation of motivation letters. Our personalized career counseling module supports both students who wish to work in Switzerland as well as those who wish to return to their countries of choice. A network of HR agencies around the globe support our students with local opportunities.
For students wishing to work in Switzerland, BSL provides contacts with our privileged HR contacts within the international business community – many of whom helped develop the MBA program. The 4-month consulting project (BSL Management Report) is an excellent tool to provide our students with potential career opportunities. The consulting assignment offers students the option to work closely with a company of their choice getting valuable exposure to prove themselves. Relevant and high quality consulting reports often result in employment offers for our students.
Studying at BSL gave me an edge over other colleagues in my organization. It helped me face interviews with greater confidence, and has given me strong business know-how. A real-time approach towards education engrained in the values of the school creates an excellent support structure that makes it stand out among other MBA programs. I am very glad to have learned not to just be a manager, but also an efficient time keeper always looking for change. If again given a chance, I would love to go through their pragmatic program which undergoes continuous updating. I am very grateful to the school and it’s faculty for what I have learned and for who I am today. - Dipak Nirmalkumar , (Indian) MBA 2010 Graduate
BSL has provided me a unique and relevant setting to obtain my MBA. To study business in Lausanne, Switzerland means to have the opportunity to network and build lasting relationships with global players—and not only in a class room setting, but also in relation to the many international corporations in the area. The international experience and global perspective that my classmates have brought with them has afforded me the privilege to leave my comfort zone and assess situations with an outlook that I would have not considered in a different setting.
