
Opleiding: MSc in International Marketing
Learning purpose
The M.Sc. in International Marketing is the outcome of the PR.I.MA. (Programme in International Marketing) project. This programme refers to the joint development of a "study programme" in International Marketing at an advanced level by five European Universities. The target group of the project is graduate students who are interested in acquiring all the appropriate marketing skills and competencies, which are required in developing, pricing, distributing and promoting products and services in export markets.
The main objectives of the project are as follows: to strengthen the European dimension of the program by combining the expertise and state-of-the-art knowledge of European universities from several countries and diverse cultural environments; to provide access to new member states within the European Union; and to facilitate the mobility of staff and students among the different institutions.
The main activities of the project include the development of a post-graduate programme in International Marketing, the implementation and the dissemination of this programme. The outcomes of the project include a complete study programme of twelve courses, description of individual courses on the basis of ECTS rules, course material and the development of a website for the programme.

The Program in International Marketing (PR.I.MA.) starts on October of every year. All coursework for the program is normally completed by December of next year.
The program is divided in 3 semesters and includes 8 core courses, 2 elective courses and a dissertation.
The core courses take place in the first 2 semesters and the exams are given at the end of each semester. The elective courses may take place in facilities away from Athens between the months July - September, their duration is one week while at the end of the week students sit on exams.

Undergraduate degree requirement
The academic background of an applicant is carefully evaluated. Variety in the academic background of the candidates is encouraged. In case of a foreign university degree the applicant must secure a recognition from the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Center.
English language requirement
Since the PRIMA curriculum is provided in English, all candidates are expected to be fluent in the English language. This is proven through the Proficiency Certificate of the English language, the TOEFL test (with at least 480 in paper-based test or 80 in internet-based test), or the IELTS test (at least 6.5). The candidates' level of verbal expression in the English language may also be evaluated in the admission interviews.
Recommendation letters
Applicants should submit two recommendation letters from the academic institution they have graduated or an employer (in case of working experience).
