Opleiding: Implementing Change
Learning purpose
This practical three-day programme will facilitate your exploration of the best thinking and approaches to implementing change. You will take both the latest and the tried and tested ideas, strip them apart and apply them to your own needs. Working in groups, you will have the time to tackle your own challenges and develop your confidence and judgement.
People who come on the Implementing Change course are seeking to:
- Manage change in a more organised, deliberate way
- Better understand the different types of change and the different approaches that work in other organisations
- Work wih culture so that it supports success rather than get in the way
-Turn good intentions into programmes that push through the performance
- Understand the personal changes they may need to make to be an effective change leader
Target audience
This programme has been developed for people who need to navigate their organisations through change. It is for experienced, senior people who know that change presents a challenge and would like to know more about the science and the art of making successful implementation.
Programme
We know that people only want ideas they can use. Everything you learn on this programme can be put into practice.
Our tutors and coaches work alongside you as you become aware of how to craft your own unique approach to leading strategy and change. Working on real issues with a peer group of managers, our participants value the opportunity to develop greater personal confidence and credibility--- as well as seasoned judgment.
- Implementing Change is focused on putting top thinking into action: the course is built around management issues – not Business School theory. With dozens of companies and public sector organisations choosing Ashridge each year to support their programmes of change, and with our faculty coming from industry – not academia – we have unique insights into what drives results. We share insights and help you turn the thinking into action.
- Implementing Change is built around you: with personal packages of work, workshops, clinics and coaching, our mission is to ensure that your issues come first.
- Cross disciplinary: in our sessions, we combine faculty disciplines to help participants work out the multi-faceted strategies that managers need.
- A course for people who have “made it” already: this is an intensive experience for busy managers unable to escape for long periods. The essentials of business school theory will be covered in short reviews – Classic sessions – so that maximum time can be spent on the top thinking.
